Sindh Police’s Shaheer Afridi, a four-time Asian boxing champion, triumphed over Africa’s world champion, Patrick Alouette, in the sixth round of the world boxing competition held in Bangkok. Afridi’s victory marks a significant achievement in his career, adding to his already impressive record of 14 professional bouts before this match, while Alouette had previously competed in 50 matches. According to Sindh Police, this victory places Afridi among the top 100 professional boxers globally. It was his 16th professional fight, and he holds titles from the World Boxing Council, World Boxing Association, and Asian Boxing Federation in the middleweight category. IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon congratulated Afridi on this remarkable victory, calling it a proud moment for Pakistan and the Sindh Police.
