Srinagar, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, the incarcerated senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Chairman of the Democratic Freedom Party, has extolled the unwavering determination of the Kashmiri people in their quest for freedom from Indian occupation and suppression. Despite enduring prolonged hardships, their spirit remains indomitable, Shah conveyed from New Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Shah’s message highlighted the exemplary courage, sincerity, and sense of brotherhood the Kashmiris have shown in the face of relentless Indian repression and malicious tactics. He emphasized that the willingness to face adversities head-on is a hallmark of vibrant and resilient nations.
Shah expressed deep concern over the continued acts of repression by Indian forces, including the arrest of young Kashmiris during the holy month of Ramadan. At this pivotal moment in their struggle for liberty, he called upon the Kashmiri populace to foster greater unity and compassion amongst themselves. He stressed the importance of supporting one another, especially the impoverished and those adversely affected by India’s state-sponsored terrorism.
