Shabbir Shah Commends Kashmiri Resolve for Freedom


Srinagar: Illegally detained Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has praised the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir for their enduring commitment to the Kashmir freedom struggle.



According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, in a message from New Delhi’s Tihar Jail, acknowledged the bravery, moral integrity, unity, and brotherhood shown by the Kashmiris. He emphasized that hardships and challenges are inherent in the journey toward freedom from slavery.



Shah expressed confidence that despite adversities, the Kashmiri people will continue to protect their collective interests in their pursuit of freedom.



Highlighting the importance of the holy month of Ramadan, he urged people to care for the underprivileged, including the poor, needy, widows, and orphaned individuals. He emphasized that neglecting the poor is unacceptable under any circumstances.



Shah called upon the global Muslim community, particularly the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to take an active role in addressing the plight of Kashmiris. He noted that Ramadan is a time of blessings and expressed regret over the silence of the Muslim world on the injustices faced by Kashmiris.



In conclusion, Shah reaffirmed his commitment to Kashmir’s freedom cause and urged the people to remain united and determined in their struggle for the right to self-determination.
