Srinagar, The international Sikh representative group, Sikh for Justice (SFJ), is set to stage “Kill India” rallies, beginning on Saturday, October 21, spanning from Canada to Palestine. The rallies are intended to show solidarity with those who lost their lives in the Gaza hospital incident and to protest India’s support of such events under Prime Minister Modi.
According to a news release by Kashmir Media Service, the General Counsel for SFJ, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, in a video statement, criticized India’s stance on the Gaza hospital bombings, implying that while the global community mourns, India celebrates, tarnishing the global democratic image. Pannun further shed light on allegations of Indian agents being involved in acts of terror in G7 nations, specifically citing the killing of Sikh leader, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in Canada.
The SFJ General Counsel has called upon Pro-Khalistan Sikhs and Palestinians to join the “Kill India” rallies extending from Vancouver to Ramallah. Pannun’s demands also include the shutting down of Indian embassies in retaliation against the Modi government’s perceived anti-Palestinian policies. Pannun also emphasized the common bond between Pro-Khalistan Sikhs and the Palestinian people, both of whom he said have experienced genocide.
