Several arrested during crackdown operations in IIOJK

Srinagar, November 09, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops arrested several people during house raids in different areas of the territory. The troops along with paramilitary and police personnel arrested near a dozen youth during raids in Baramulla, Islambad, Pulwama, Rajouri, Poonch and Jammu districts. Among those detained include Mohammad Rauf, Wazir, Khursheed, Mohammad Latif, Asghar and Faizan. The detainees have been slapped with black law Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

Meanwhile, the troops continued cordon and search operations in different areas of Srinagar, Budgam, Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipore, Islamabad, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi and Samba districts. The violent search operation continued on the 30th consecutive day, today, in Surankot, Thanamandi and Mendhar areas of Poonch and Rajouri districts. India police claimed to have recovered an Ak-47 rifle from fields in Arnia area of Jammu district.
