Lahore, September 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has said that September 6, 1965 is a memorable day in our defense history which can never be forgotten. On September 6, Pakistan Army not only defended the motherland but also sent a clear message to the world that Pakistan is fully capable of defeating any kind of aggression. The cowardly enemy attacked in the darkness of night to capture Lahore and the whole world saw that the soldiers of the Pakistan Army repulsed the enemy with unparalleled bravery. It is not won by weapons, but by faith and courage. The world of history is unable to present any other example of creating the eternal stories of bravery of Pakistan Army.

Paying tribute to the eternal sacrifices in glorious words, he said that the brave children who laid down their lives for the defense of the nation. Salutes – The martyrs who laid down their precious lives for the defense of the homeland are our honour, pride and glory. Today, the entire nation expresses complete solidarity with the martyrs of the homeland and their families. On Defense Day, the innocent people of Indian occupied Kashmir. We also pay tribute to the great sacrifices made by those who are struggling for their right to self-determination. He said that today we have to reiterate our resolve that we will not avoid sacrificing our lives for the defense of the country.
