Senior Revenue Officials Visit Hub to Address Settlement Issues

Hub: Senior Member Board of Revenue Baluchistan, Qamber Dashti, visited District Hub to oversee and resolve ongoing settlement issues. Upon arrival, Dashti was received by Chief Minister Balochistan’s Advisor on Industry and Trade, Mir Ali Hasan Zehri, along with Commissioner Qalat Division Muhammad Naeem Bazai and other local revenue officials. A meeting was later held to discuss strategies and implement solutions concerning the district’s settlement operations.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the visit aimed at monitoring the application of the settlement manual and addressing related revenue concerns. During the meeting at the Chamber of Commerce Lida, chaired by Dashti, significant decisions were made. These included directives to ensure that the settlement process adheres to the settlement manual and current laws, while also safeguarding government lands and the rights of stakeholders.

Commissioner Qalat Division Muhammad Naeem Bazai reported that all administrative officers had been ordered to immediately implement the directives of the Balochistan High Court. He emphasized the necessity of carrying out the settlement process under the Land Revenue Act with transparency and adherence to good governance principles. Bazai also reminded revenue officers of their duty to perform their responsibilities efficiently to manage government lands effectively.

The meeting involved key participants such as Deputy Commissioner Hub Ruhana Gul Kakar, Settlement Officer Munir Durrani, and other officials from the Revenue Department, indicating a comprehensive approach to tackle the settlement issues in District Hub.
