Islamabad: Senator Sherry Rehman, Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, recently presided over a key committee meeting at Parliament House, focusing on pressing environmental issues facing Pakistan.
According to Senate of Pakistan, the meeting addressed various aspects of climate change policies and their implementation. The committee discussed legislative and regulatory measures to enhance the country’s resilience against the increasing impacts of global warming and environmental degradation.
