Senator Pervaiz Rasheed Elected Chairman, Leads Senate Communications Committee Meeting

Islamabad, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed was elected as the new Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Communications and immediately presided over a meeting at the Parliament House to address the nation’s communications challenges and strategies.

According to Senate of Pakistan, under the leadership of Senator Rasheed, the committee discussed a variety of critical issues pertaining to the improvement of the country’s communications infrastructure. The agenda included discussions on enhancing digital connectivity across remote areas and optimizing regulatory practices to foster growth in the telecommunications sector.

The meeting highlighted the need for robust policies that could support the rapid technological advancements in communication technologies.
