ISLAMABAD, A delegation from the American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC) met with Senator Mohammad Abdul Qadir and other senators at the Parliament House. The meeting focused on enhancing economic relations between the United States and Pakistan, particularly in the fields of education and healthcare.
According to Senate of Pakistan’s press release indicated that Deputy Speaker of the New York State, Philips Ramos, outlined APPAC’s objectives and the purpose of their visit. Ramos emphasized the economic potential of Pakistan and the benefits of bilateral cooperation. Senator Mohammad Abdul Qadir, Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Petroleum, welcomed APPAC’s vision and acknowledged the substantial market capacity of the USA. He expressed optimism for collaborative efforts in various sectors. Senators Bahramand Khan Tangi, Gurdeep Singh, and Danesh Kumar also attended the meeting and supported the initiative to strengthen bilateral ties with the United States in critical areas.
