ISLAMABAD, The Senate resumed its discussions on Tuesday, focusing on the actions of Israel towards the Palestinians.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dilawar Khan expressed that the global community ought to shoulder its responsibilities concerning the Israeli-Palestinian dispute resolution. Mushahid Hussain Sayed clarified that Hamas serves as a political entity representing the Palestinians and stands against Israel’s state acts. He highlighted that Israel’s actions in Gaza are tantamount to war crimes. Emphasizing Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinians, he declared the nation’s solidarity with them. Mohsin Aziz proposed the passage of a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Sherry Rehman drew attention to the increasing death toll of children in Gaza, numbering in the thousands. Additionally, she noted that the organization “Save the Children” has voiced its concerns about the situation. Zarqa Suharwardy Taimur discussed Israel’s ambitions to expand, pointing out its oppressive tactics against the Palestinians. Concluding the discussions, Mian Raza Rabbani suggested that Israeli leaders, along with their associates, should face charges for war crimes.
