Islamabad, The Senate Standing Committee on Finance and Revenue convened under the leadership of Senator Saleem Mandviwalla at the Parliament House to assess and deliberate on current economic policies and financial regulations.

According to Senate of Pakistan, Senator Mandviwalla chaired the session which focused on evaluating the effectiveness of existing financial frameworks and exploring new strategies to enhance the country’s fiscal environment. The meeting brought together various stakeholders, including financial experts and policymakers, to provide insights and propose measures for economic reform.

The committee discussed a range of issues from fiscal adjustments needed to stabilize the economy, to potential amendments in taxation laws aimed at improving revenue collection without burdening the average citizen.
