Islamabad: Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on his 77th death anniversary. In his message, Gilani lauded Jinnah’s leadership, which he credited with securing a free homeland for Muslims in the subcontinent.

In recognition of this solemn occasion, the Senate Chairman noted the nation’s collective respect and reverence for Jinnah. He described Jinnah’s life as a demonstration of justice, integrity, and democratic values, emphasizing the principle that all Pakistanis should enjoy equal rights and opportunities, regardless of their background.

The Chairman pointed out that Parliament and the people’s united struggle are crucial to realizing Jinnah’s dream. He expressed a desire for divine guidance to help transform Pakistan into a modern, welfare-oriented state in line with Jinnah’s vision.
