Islamabad, Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, expressed his strong condemnation of the recent Israeli air strike on the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza. He described the event as a “barbaric act” that has caused significant civilian casualties, with more than 500 women and children reportedly dead.
Characterizing the attack as a genocide committed by the Israeli regime, Chairman Senate underscored the event’s gross inhumanity, pointing out the deliberate targeting of medical facilities and a UN-run school, thus highlighting it as a clear war crime. Sanjrani urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to take immediate action in response to these aggressive actions in Gaza.
Chairman Senate also expressed his dismay at certain international media outlets and Western journalists for their portrayal of the events, accusing them of presenting misleading narratives. He further expressed his concerns about the global community’s seeming endorsement of Israel’s aggressive actions, emphasizing the need for a united response.
Highlighting the urgency for global unity against such acts, Sanjrani called for a resolution to the Palestinian issue in line with UNSC resolutions to establish lasting peace. He emphasized the importance of a united front in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and called upon the global community to act decisively against such acts of aggression.
