Senate Chairman Calls for Unity and Peace on Eid-ul-Fitr


Multan: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani extended greetings to Muslims across the country, emphasizing the importance of patience, unity, and collective responsibility in current times. He highlighted these themes while addressing the media and urged international institutions to take immediate actions to prevent conflicts and promote peaceful resolutions.



According to Press Information Department, Mr. Gilani stressed the necessity for timely intervention by international bodies to avoid further loss and instability. Addressing the threat of terrorism in the country, he underscored the importance of standing with the armed forces and honoring martyrs through prayers. He also called for harmony among Muslim nations and urged the public to care for underprivileged segments of society, particularly during Eid.



Following his media interaction, Mr. Gilani visited the shrine of Hazrat Musa Pak Shaheed, where special prayers were conducted by Sajjada Nashin Syed Abul Hassan Gilani. The event was attended by Member National Assembly Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani, Syed Ali Musa Gilani, Syed Ali Qasim Gilani, Member Provincial Assembly Syed Ali Haider Gilani, former MPA Syed Ahmed Mujtaba, and other dignitaries. Participants engaged in collective prayers, expressing spiritual devotion and reaffirming their commitment to unity and solidarity.
