Gwadar: A seminar focused on the negative impact of social media and the spread of fake news was held at the Government Girls Degree College Gwadar, with Tehsildar Gwadar Genghis Baloch attending as the chief guest. Speakers at the seminar discussed the social implications of misinformation and emphasized the importance of educating the younger generation about these issues.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Tehsildar Genghis Baloch addressed the seminar, highlighting the rapid dissemination of information in the digital age and the risks of spreading unverified news, which can lead to social disorder. He urged the youth to seek out positive and constructive information and to be discerning about the information they encounter on social media. Baloch also advised students to concentrate on their academic pursuits, suggesting that their efforts could become a source of national pride.

Following the seminar, Tehsildar Gwadar toured various college facilities, including classrooms, the library, and an under-construction building, providing suggestions to enhance educational amenities.
