Srinagar, March 05, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a 27-year-old youth, who was injured after setting himself on fire to protest the demolition of his complex by the authorities in Harran area of Ganderbal district nearly two weeks ago, died at a hospital in Srinagar, today. The youth Amir Ahmed Shah of Harran succumbed this morning at Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar where he was admitted with serious burn injuries on February 22.
Amir set himself ablaze on the roof of the structure when a demolition squad was about to pull down his newly constructed complex, videos of the incident which surfaced on social media showed. Meanwhile, five persons, including four members of a family, were killed and another was injured after the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a gorge in Jamoda area of Samba district, today. The vehicle was on its way from Samba to Srinagar.
