Islamabad: The Islamabad Police have announced a comprehensive security plan for the upcoming Eid festivities, deploying over 3,500 officers and personnel across the federal capital. The strategy aims to ensure public safety and maintain order during the holiday period.
According to a spokesperson from the Islamabad Police, the robust arrangement includes the presence of more than 500 traffic officials who will be tasked with managing vehicular flow to prevent congestion in key areas.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad stated that 18 checkpoints have been established at the entry and exit points of the city. The police department is committed to providing a secure environment for citizens celebrating Eid.
These measures are part of the police’s broader initiative to maintain peace and address any potential security concerns during the festivities. The authorities have emphasized their intent to offer a safe atmosphere for all residents and visitors in the capital.
