Rawalpindi, A targeted intelligence-based operation by Security Forces in South Waziristan District on April 9, 2024, resulted in the elimination of two terrorists following a fierce exchange of fire. The operation also led to the seizure of weapons and a significant amount of explosives.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the terrorists, who were neutralized in the operation, had been implicated in various terrorist activities within the region. The recovery of arms and explosives marks a significant blow to terrorist operations in South Waziristan.
