Security Operation in Chaman Leads to Seizure of Datsun Pickup After Shootout

Chaman: Following the directives of Deputy Commissioner Chaman Captain (retd) Raja Athar Abbas, a security operation this morning in Toba Achakzai led to the seizure of a Datsun pickup following a shootout at Pasha Mor. The dacoits involved in the encounter managed to escape into the nearby mountains.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the operation was carried out by Assistant Commissioner Imtiaz Baloch, Risaldar Headquarters Jahangir Khan Kakar, In-charge Daraband Levies Check Post Haji Abdul Qadeer, along with their Levies team. During the operation, the authorities encountered armed resistance from the dacoits, resulting in an exchange of fire.

Assistant Commissioner Imtiaz Baloch, speaking at the scene, urged all criminals to repent and demonstrate their willingness to become constructive members of society. He emphasized the readiness and vigilance of the district’s officials in combating criminal activities and ensuring the safety of the public. Baloch warned criminals not to misinterpret temporary respites as victories, highlighting the strategic and careful approach of law enforcement in apprehending criminals after thorough investigations.
