North Waziristan: A security operation in the Razmak area of North Waziristan District on Thursday resulted in the elimination of three militants, with another injured, amid efforts to combat terrorism in the region.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, the operation was prompted by intelligence reports of militant presence and involved intense exchanges of fire. The militants, described as members of Fitna al Khawarij, were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist acts against security forces and civilians.
Recovered from the scene were various weapons and ammunition, highlighting the group’s significant threat level. The operation also includes ongoing efforts to sanitize the area, aiming to eradicate any remaining threats and secure peace in the district.
Security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism from Pakistan, reinforcing measures to ensure regional stability and safety.
