Zhob, Balochistan: In a critical security operation, Pakistani forces neutralized two terrorists, including a high-profile target, who attempted an assault on a Frontier Corps post in Zhob District. The confrontation underscores ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the security personnel effectively repelled the terrorist attack, preventing potential damage and loss of life at the military installation. Among the terrorists killed was Umar alias Umari, a noted high-value target implicated in several attacks against security forces and civilians, including a recent assault on the convoy of the Deputy Commissioner of Sherani.
The skirmish also resulted in the death of Havildar Jamsher Khan, who fought valiantly before succumbing to injuries sustained during the firefight. His sacrifice highlights the ongoing risks faced by security personnel in combatting terrorism within the region.
