Security Forces Neutralize Nine Terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa


Islamabad: In a decisive action against terrorism, Pakistani security forces killed nine terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on July 1, 2024. The operations targeted known terrorist elements, including high-value targets, significantly impacting terrorist networks in the region.



According to Inter Services Public Relations, the first operation took place in the Tira area of Khyber District, where seven terrorists, including commanders Najeeb (also known as Abdul Ur Rehman) and Ishfaq (also known as Muavia), were neutralized. These individuals were involved in numerous terrorist activities and were high on the wanted list of law enforcement agencies. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered during the operation.



A second operation in Lakki Marwat District resulted in the deaths of two additional terrorists. Following these operations, sanitization efforts are underway to ensure the complete eradication of terrorist elements in the area. These actions underscore the continued resolve of Pakistani security forces to eliminate terrorism from the country.
