D.I. Khan: Security forces have successfully executed an intelligence-based operation in the Takwara area of Dera Ismail Khan District, resulting in the elimination of nine Khwarij, including a high-value target, the Khwarij ringleader Shireen.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation led to the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the neutralized individuals. Shireen was a highly sought-after figure by law enforcement agencies due to his extensive involvement in terrorist activities.
The ISPR highlighted that Shireen was implicated in numerous target killings of civilians and was responsible for the death of Captain Hasnain Akhtar. The operation, as stated by the ISPR, has avenged these acts and brought the primary offender to justice.
A sanitization operation is currently underway in the area to eliminate any remaining presence of Khwarij. The ISPR reiterated its commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
