Bagh: Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in the Khyber District, resulting in the elimination of four militants, including two key leaders, and the injury of two others. The operation, which took place on January 25, 2025, targeted a reported militant hideout in the area.
According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations, the operation led to the death of ring leaders Aziz ur Rehman, also known as Qari Ismail, and Mukhlis. These individuals were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities against security forces and civilians in the region.
During the operation, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants. Security forces are continuing a sanitization operation to ensure the area is clear of any remaining threats. The operation underscores Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
