North Waziristan: Security forces have successfully neutralized nine Khwarij in two separate intelligence-based operations in the North Waziristan District, as reported in recent military activities.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the first operation was conducted in the general area of Dosalli. The security forces engaged the Khwarij based on intelligence reports, resulting in the elimination of six individuals and the apprehension of two others.
In a separate operation in the general area of Esham, security forces engaged in an intense exchange of fire with the Khwarij, resulting in three fatalities and two injuries among the adversaries.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the Khwarij, who were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities targeting security forces and civilians.
Ongoing sanitization operations aim to clear any remaining Khwarij presence in the area. The ISPR, in its statement, reiterated its commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
