Security Forces Neutralize Four Terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations

Rawalpindi, In a significant development on 13 January 2024, security forces successfully neutralized four terrorists in two separate operations in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a statement released by the Inter Services Public Relations.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the first operation, based on intelligence, took place in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district. During an intense exchange of fire, high-value target Terrorist Commander Tabassum, also known as Qadarman, along with Terrorist Sajid or Sarkandi, were neutralized by the security forces.

In a subsequent joint operation by the security forces and police in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, two additional terrorists were neutralized. The operations also led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the deceased terrorists. These individuals were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities targeting security forces, as well as in extortion and the targeted killings of innocent civilians. They were highly sought after by law enforcement agencies.

Sanitization operations are ongoing in the area to ensure the elimination of any remaining terrorist elements. The local population has expressed strong support for these operations, showing solidarity with the efforts to eradicate terrorism from their communities.
