Security Forces Neutralize Five Militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations


Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Security forces in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province conducted a series of operations on April 30 and May 1, 2025, resulting in the neutralization of five militants and the apprehension of two others. The operations, driven by intelligence reports, targeted the presence of militants in the region.



The first operation took place in Bajaur District, where security forces engaged the militants after receiving intelligence on their location. In the ensuing exchange of fire, three militants, including a high-value target identified as Fareed Ullah, were neutralized.



A second operation was conducted in the general area of Dossali, North Waziristan District. Security forces successfully neutralized two militants during this encounter.



In a third operation in Mohmand District, security forces dismantled a militant hideout, capturing two individuals, including another high-value target known as Lal Ameer, also referred to as Ibrahim.



The operations also led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. The militants were reportedly involved in various terrorist activities within the region.



Security forces continue sanitization efforts in the area to eliminate any remaining militant presence, reaffirming their commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
