Islamabad: Thirty-one militants affiliated with the Indian-backed Fitna al Khwarij were killed in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on September 13-14.
In Lakki Marwat district, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation, targeting a known militant hideout. A fierce firefight ensued, resulting in the deaths of fourteen militants.
A separate operation in Bannu district led to the neutralization of seventeen more militants.
Security forces are conducting follow-up operations to eliminate any remaining militants in the region. They are committed to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.
