Lower Dir: Security forces have successfully neutralized two terrorists, including a high-value target, during an intelligence-based operation in the Timergara area of Lower Dir, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operation, conducted on the night of April 10-11, 2025, was initiated based on reports of terrorist presence in the region. The forces surrounded and engaged the location, resulting in an intense exchange of fire. Two individuals identified as Khwarij, including the notorious Kharji Hafeezullah, also known as Kochwan, were killed.

Kochwan was a significant figure involved in multiple terrorist activities targeting security forces and civilians. He was a highly sought-after individual, with a bounty of PKR 10 million on his head.

Following the operation, a sanitization effort is underway to ensure any remaining threats in the area are addressed. The security forces of Pakistan remain committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.
