Khyber District: Security forces successfully neutralized four militants, identified as Khwarij, during an intelligence-based operation in the Bagh area of Khyber District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The operation resulted in the deaths of key figures, including Aziz ur Rehman, also known as Qari Ismail, and Mukhlis, while two others sustained injuries.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the operation was meticulously planned, with troops effectively targeting the militants’ location. The deceased Khwarij were reportedly involved in several terrorist activities targeting security forces and civilians.

In addition to neutralizing the militants, security forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the scene. A follow-up sanitization operation is currently underway to ensure no other militants remain in the area.

The security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism from Pakistan, continuing their efforts to secure the nation and its people from the threat posed by such groups.
