Khyber: In a series of coordinated strikes across Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and Balochistan, Pakistan’s security forces have reportedly neutralized 32 terrorists linked to Indian-sponsored groups. These operations are part of an ongoing campaign to dismantle networks identified as Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the operations took place over the night of July 28 to 29, 2026, with intelligence-based raids conducted in the Khyber district. These efforts resulted in the deaths of 24 militants associated with Fitna al Khwarij. Concurrently, another set of operations in Balochistan’s Nushki district led to an intense confrontation that ended with the elimination of eight terrorists from Fitna al Hindustan.

The operations also saw the recovery and destruction of weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices. The security forces are continuing sanitization operations in these areas to target any remaining elements of these groups. This effort is part of a broader counter-terrorism campaign named “Azm e Istehkam,” which has been endorsed by Pakistan’s Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. The campaign aims to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
