Sararogha: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Sararogha, South Waziristan District, resulting in the death of 11 Khwarij members and injuring seven others. The operation targeted individuals linked to the Indian Proxy group, Fitna al Khwarij, according to information released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation was launched following reports of Khwarij presence in the area. Security forces effectively engaged the identified location, resulting in a significant exchange of fire.
During the operation, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, who was leading the troops, and Lance Naik Jibran Ullah lost their lives. Major Moiz Abbas Shah was known for his leadership in previous operations against Khwarij forces.
A sanitization operation is currently underway to ensure the area is clear of any remaining threats from the group. The operation underscores Pakistan’s commitment to combating Indian-sponsored terrorism within its borders.
