Saudi Foreign Minister Leads Delegation to Pakistan to Boost Economic Ties

Islamabad, In an effort to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah arrives in Pakistan today with a high-level delegation. This visit is set to further the goals set during a recent high-level meeting in Makkah, focusing on expanding the economic partnership between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the delegation includes several key Saudi officials such as the Minister for Water and Agriculture, Minister for Industry and Mineral Resources, Deputy Minister for Investment, Head of the Saudi Special Committee, and senior officials from the Ministry of Energy and the Saudi Fund for General Investments. This visit follows a recent discussion between Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, emphasizing the commitment to deepen economic links.

The agenda for the Saudi delegation includes meetings with Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and other key ministers. Discussions will also involve the Chief of Army Staff and the Apex Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), focusing on strategic economic initiatives and investment opportunities.
