Islamabad, In a significant move to support the underprivileged during Ramadan ul Mubarak, the Saudi Embassy has partnered with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal for the distribution of rations and the care of orphans.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the collaboration was finalized during a meeting between Syed Tariq Mahmood Al-Hassan, Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, and Nawaf bin Saeed Maliki, the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, in Islamabad. Under this agreement, the Saudi Embassy commits to distributing rations among the needy throughout the holy month of Ramadan and assuming responsibility for the care of 100 orphans at Pakistan Sweet Home.
The initiative underscores the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support for Pakistan, especially in times of disaster, and highlights its focus on enhancing social sectors globally, with a special emphasis on supporting Pakistan’s economy.
