Islamabad: A high-level delegation from the Saudi Arabian Shura Council has arrived in Islamabad for discussions aimed at enhancing parliamentary cooperation and strengthening bilateral ties. The delegation, led by Chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, was warmly received at the Parliament House by Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
Marking the significance of this visit, the Parliament House was illuminated with green lights, symbolizing the friendship and solidarity between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
During their visit, the Saudi delegation is expected to engage in talks with key Pakistani leaders, including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
The discussions will focus on fostering cooperation at the parliamentary level, strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations, and promoting peace and development within the region. The visit underscores the ongoing commitment of both countries to work collaboratively on issues of mutual interest.
