Saudi Delegation Arrives in Islamabad to Review Hajj Plans

Islamabad: A 45-member Saudi delegation has arrived in Pakistan to assess the preparations for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage under the Road to Makkah project. The delegation was welcomed at Islamabad International Airport by officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The Road to Makkah project aims to streamline the Hajj process, allowing a total of 50,500 Pakistani pilgrims to travel to Saudi Arabia through dedicated flights. As part of the initiative, immigration counters will be established at both Islamabad and Karachi airports.

This arrangement ensures that the immigration process for Pakistani pilgrims will be completed domestically, facilitating a smoother experience for travelers before they embark on their pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
