Islamabad, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) for Human Rights and Women Empowerment, has expressed profound grief over the death of the maternal uncle of Muhammad Yasin Malik, Chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), who is currently incarcerated.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mullick, who is also the wife of Yasin Malik, conveyed her condolences in a message on Saturday. She reported that Muhammad Shafi, Malik’s maternal uncle, passed away due to cardiac arrest. In her message, Mullick extended her deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to be granted the highest place in Jannah (paradise).
The SAPM for Human Rights and Women Empowerment also prayed for strength and courage for the family, especially Yasin Malik’s mother, to cope with this irreplaceable loss. This expression of sorrow comes in the backdrop of the ongoing political and human rights situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
