Islamabad, the first consultative meeting of the Kashmir Advisory Committee, led by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Mushaal Hussein Mullick, focused on the human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K). The meeting brought to the forefront the pressing concerns of human rights abuses in the region.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during the meeting, Mushaal Hussein Mullick underscored the significant impact of BJP and RSS ideologies on the Indian Judiciary. She expressed her deep concern over the severe human rights violations faced by the people of IIOJK at the hands of the occupation forces. Mullick emphasized the desperate struggle of the Kashmiri people for their fundamental right to self-determination and the urgent need for collective action to address these human rights issues.
The committee engaged in an extensive discussion on both immediate and long-term strategies to tackle the unlawful actions perpetrated by India in IIOJK.
