Islamabad: In a significant development at the Parliament House today, Mr. Sana Ullah Khan Mastikhel, MNA, was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Inter Provincial Coordination. The election marks a pivotal moment in facilitating enhanced cooperation between different provinces of Pakistan.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the election process was overseen by Mr. Muhammad Mushtaq, Advisor (Legislation), along with Syed Jawad Murtaza Naqvi, Additional Secretary (Committees), and Syed Haseen Raza Zaidi, Joint Secretary (Committees). Mr. Anjum Aqeel Khan, MNA, proposed Mastikhel’s name, which was seconded by all members of the committee, highlighting the consensus among the participants on his leadership capabilities.
The newly elected Chairman expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by the committee members and committed to steering the committee’s efforts towards consensus-driven decisions to address inter-provincial challenges. The meeting also saw participation from several prominent MNAs, indicating robust engagement and support for the committee’s objectives.
