Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received a fresh death threat, accompanied by a demand for Rs 2 crore, from an unidentified source. The threat further intensifies the security concerns surrounding the actor.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a message sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police warned that Khan would be killed if the ransom was not paid. The Mumbai police have responded swiftly by arresting a 20-year-old man in Noida’s Sector 39. The man is alleged to have made threatening calls not only to Salman Khan but also to NCP MLA Zeeshan Siddique, the son of the late politician Baba Siddique.
This threat emerges shortly after a violent incident involving the Siddique family. On October 12, Baba Siddique was killed outside his son’s office in what authorities believe was a targeted attack. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang later claimed responsibility, citing Siddique’s association with Salman Khan as the motive behind their actions.
In a development that adds intrigue to the situation, international reports have cast suspicion on the possible involvement of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah in orchestrating violent campaigns against Sikh activists abroad and prominent Muslim figures in India. Canadian authorities suspect Shah of sanctioning attacks against Khalistani activists in Canada, which raises concerns about the potential political motives behind domestic threats. Experts speculate that Lawrence Bishnoi may be a front for these activities, possibly implicating higher-level figures within the Indian government.
As the investigation unfolds, these allegations introduce an additional layer of complexity to the case, which now encompasses both domestic threats and international diplomatic tensions.
