Islamabad, October 08, 2023 (PPI-OT): Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, convener of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter, has said that atrocities on Palestinians by Israel are continuing, but instead of supporting the oppressed, international powers are supporting the usurper Israel.

Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in a statement issued in Islamabad said that the international community must take notice of the plight of Kashmiris and Palestinians who are victims of Indian and Israeli atrocities and play a role in resolving the conflicts.

While strongly condemning Israeli terrorism, he also demanded the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to play its role in resolving the disputes over Kashmir and Palestine. He emphasized that, considering the military aggression in the disputed areas and the deprivation of basic rights of Kashmiris and Palestinians, it is absolutely necessary to resolve these issues for world peace and prosperity.

Meanwhile, Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said in a statement issued in Muzaffarabad that the world knows that India illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on October 27, 1947, and similarly Israel also occupied the land of Palestine, illegally. Uzair Ahmed Ghazali expressed solidarity with the oppressed Muslims of Palestine and appealed to the Muslims all over the world to fully support the Kashmiri and Palestinian people who are victims of Indian and Israeli terrorism.
