Islamabad, January 15, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Convener of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar has strongly condemning the killing of innocent youth by Indian troops in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in a statement issued in Islamabad paid rich tributes to the youth martyred in Jammu, Doda and other areas of the territory during the so-called siege and search operations by Indian soldiers.

He said that India’s cruel tactics could not change the basic reality of the Kashmir dispute and urged India to give up its cruel policy towards Kashmir and resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute by giving Kashmiris their inalienable right to self-determination. Mehmood Saghar said the Indian soldiers are killing innocent Kashmiris to change the Muslim majority status of the territory into a minority. He said that despite the presence of lakhs of Indian soldiers, the mission of freedom of Kashmir from India would continue.

He said that the Kashmiri people should be given the right to decide their future according to the resolutions of the United Nations as the unresolved Kashmir dispute was a main hurdle in normal relations between the two neighbouring nuclear powers, India and Pakistan. The APHC-AJK convener demanded of the United Nations to take notice of the atrocities being committed on the Kashmiris in IIOJK and put pressure on India to settle the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
