RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir emphasized the critical role that the sacrifices of both civilians and soldiers play in ensuring Pakistan’s security during a recent visit to the Combined Military Hospital in Rawalpindi.
General Munir visited the hospital to check on the well-being of those wounded in recent operations, including Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. During his visit, he personally met with injured personnel, praising their courage and dedication to duty.
The Army Chief reaffirmed the Pakistan Armed Forces’ commitment to the care, rehabilitation, and welfare of these individuals. He stressed that the valor and sacrifices of civilians and soldiers are fundamental to the nation’s security, highlighting the solidarity between the Pakistani people and their Armed Forces.
General Munir also stated that no adversarial actions could undermine the resolve of Pakistan’s military. He pointed to the coordinated response during recent operations as a significant moment in the country’s military history, underpinned by the steadfast support of the citizens.
