Sabi District Administration Holds Open House to Address Minority Community Concerns

Sabi: The Sabi district administration conducted an Open House session to engage directly with the local Christian and Hindu communities, addressing their concerns and discussing solutions to their problems. Deputy Commissioner Jahanzeb Sheikh presided over the event, which saw significant participation from minority community members and local government officials.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the session was a platform for the minority communities to voice their issues, with Deputy Commissioner Sheikh emphasizing the administration’s commitment to prioritizing and resolving these concerns swiftly. He stated that his office is always open to the community, highlighting the proactive steps being taken to enhance their living conditions in Sabi.

The Open House also addressed specific infrastructural issues, including the urgent need for a local repair workshop for electricity transformers, recognizing Sabi as one of the hottest cities where frequent transformer failures cause significant discomfort. Deputy Commissioner Sheikh assured that the proposal for establishing a repair workshop had been escalated to higher authorities and reiterated his administration’s dedication to immediate problem resolution and ensuring that public grievances are met with effective and timely solutions.
