Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Alexei Overchuk, arrived in Islamabad today for a two-day diplomatic visit aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between Russia and Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Overchuk was received at the airport by the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation, Muhammad Khalid Jamali, and Additional Foreign Secretary Shafqat Ali Khan. Accompanying Overchuk is a high-level delegation, underscoring the significance of the visit to both nations.
During his stay, Deputy Prime Minister Overchuk is scheduled to engage in comprehensive discussions with his Pakistani counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. Additionally, Overchuk is expected to meet with both the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. These meetings are anticipated to focus on various bilateral issues and mutual interests, aiming to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries.
