Russia-Pakistan Consultative Group Discusses International Security in Moscow

MOSCOW: The 16th meeting of the Russia-Pakistan Consultative Group on Strategic Stability took place in Moscow, focusing on international security, global stability, arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation. The meeting, co-chaired by Tahir Hussain Andrabi, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, and Sergey Ryabkov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, highlighted the alignment of both nations on these critical issues.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions were marked by a detailed exchange of views, confirming the shared approaches of Russia and Pakistan on most topics. Both sides expressed their commitment to continue collaborative efforts and coordination at relevant international platforms. It was also decided that the 17th meeting of the Consultative Group will be held next year in Islamabad, furthering the dialogue between the two countries.
