Islamabad, January 28, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)-driven ideology is a threat to Muslims in India and its illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). A report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said Muslims are being continuously targeted by Hindutva activists in India and the occupied territory as anti-Muslims sentiments have heightened in India under the Modi regime.
It deplored that persecution of Muslims had sharply increased since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took power in India, adding the RSS-backed BJP regime is promoter of Hindu supremacy in India. The report said Muslims are being discriminated in all spheres of life in Modi’s India as even religious places and other symbols of Muslims are under attack in India and IIOJK. It said Hindutva leaders under state patronage openly incite crimes against Muslims and are overtly calling for mass killings and use of weapons against Muslims.
The report said Modi’s fascist policies are reminiscent of that of Hitler and experts have warned of impending genocide of Muslims in India and IIOJK. The Modi regime is trampling upon fundamental freedoms of Muslims in India and its occupied territory and the world must take practical steps to protect rights of Muslims.
