RSS Activists Hold March Inside JNU Campus Amid Vijayadashami Celebrations

New Delhi, The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) recently marked its presence inside the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) premises in New Delhi. The activists of this Hindu nationalist organization, donned in their uniform, could be seen marching and chanting the communal slogan, “Jago To Ek Baar Hindu.”

According to a news release by Kashmir Media Service, this march was organized as part of the RSS’s Vijayadashami celebrations. As brought to light through a video on social media platform X (Twitter) by Saib Bilaval, a researcher at JNU, the congregation of RSS volunteers was located at the JNU admin block. It’s noteworthy that demonstrations and protests are prohibited within a 100-meter radius of this building, as per a judicial mandate.

The anthem belted out by the group carried undertones that were critical of Muslims, and inaccurately referred to historical figures Bhagat Singh and Guru Gobind Singh as “Hindus.”
