Islamabad: Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, Romina Khurshid Alam, has urged the Pakistan Climate Change Authority (PCCA) to enhance its role in promoting environmental sustainability.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Romina Khurshid Alam made these remarks while presiding over the second meeting of PCCA in Islamabad. She emphasized the need for the authority to accelerate its efforts by fostering collaboration among federal, provincial, and international organizations, including non-governmental entities, to address climate challenges.
She further stressed the importance of raising public awareness about the impacts of climate change to effectively combat the ongoing environmental crisis.
